Wilson pledges $8M for Niagara
The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation has committed $8 million toward a new welcome center at Niagara Falls State Park.
The funding will go to a $48 million project to expand space for visitors and provide areas for operations such as dining and retail.
Wilson, who died in 2014, was an owner of the Buffalo Bills and a co-founder of the American Football League.
Construction of the new center is planned to begin this fall and end in 2023.
