Rochester community foundation head retiring

Jennifer Leonard, president and CEO of the Rochester Area Community Foundation since 1993, will retire in September 2022.

Simeon Banister, currently the foundation’s vice president for community programs, has been promoted to executive vice president. 

Under Leonard’s leadership, foundation holdings have grown more than seventeenfold to $547 million, nearly two-thirds of which is permanently endowed.
