NY college enrollments drop
The total enrollment in degree-granting postsecondary institutions in New York State dropped by 8 percent between 2015 and 2020, according to data released by the National Center for Education Statistics.
Nineteen other states, headed by Alaska, Iowa and New Mexico, experienced sharper percentage declines. Only nine states reported increases.
