Chittenango received a $4.5 million NY Forward grant from the state in 2025. Projects to be funded include senior housing, an indoor lacrosse facility, and expansion of the All Things Oz Museum. (L. Frank Baum, author of the Oz books, is a native son. Among the exhibits at the museum are the original MGM Munchkin costumes.)
