The William H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute, the largest nonprofit in Chazy, offers research and education programs on topics such as dairy and field crop science, equine management, and environmental conservation. The project grew out of a gentleman’s farm started by William H. Miner, who made a fortune in inventions for rail transportation.
