The community was named after Casimir Pulaski, Polish officer killed in the American Revolution.
Pulaski received a $10 million award in 2025 through the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative. The funds are earmarked for housing, restoration of the People’s Bank building, new structures housing apartments, and upgrading of retail space.
